The Melchiorre Group brings together several companies operating in the agricultural sector, specializing in the cultivation and production of high-quality chestnuts. The entire production process is certified according to the most rigorous international standards—BIO, BRC, GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, and GRASP—to ensure safety, sustainability, and traceability.
The company’s roots date back to the early 1940s, when the family business was founded, already focused on exporting to demanding markets such as the United States and Canada. Building on this solid foundation, the Melchiorre Agricultural Cooperative developed over time with a clear vision: to become a direct producer by planting its own chestnut groves, marking a strategic evolution of the company’s core business.
Every decision has always been guided by respect for nature, a value that translates into the use of advanced technologies and sustainable practices throughout the entire supply chain: from cultivation to production, from processing to marketing.
Today, the usable agricultural area (UAA) dedicated to chestnut groves spans approximately 200 hectares, all located in the picturesque region of Irpinia—a territory ideally suited for the production of premium chestnuts.
